Collection of Student Information

We do NOT require, request, prompt or encourage a child to submit personal information through our online service.

Personal information means individually identifiable information about an individual. This includes:
- A first AND last name (Note, we suggest first name and first initial letter in the last name from the student. However, it is NOT required and students may use aliases or pseudonyms. The identification provided is purely as a means for the teacher or parent to know which student is being referred to).
- A home or other physical address including street name and name of a city or town.
- Online contact information as defined in this section.
- A screen or user name which functions in the same manner as online contact information.
- A telephone number.
- Date or place of birth.
- Their gender.
- Grade level or major field of study.
- A government-issued identifier or student ID of any sort.
- A photograph, video, or audio file where such file contains a child's image or voice.
- Geolocation information sufficient to identify a street name and city or town.
- A biometric identifier that can be used for the automated or semi-automated recognition of an individual.
- Information concerning the child or the parents of that child that if combined, identifies the child.

Regarding each or any of the above-mentioned child or student information, the Math Ready online web service does NOT require, request, prompt or encourage a child or student to submit any of these forms of information.

Access to Student Information

We provide registered users, such as parents, guardians, teachers and schools, who have student accounts linked to them, the ability to:
- inspect and review a student's education records or information related to their student,
- amend their student's information records that they believe are inaccurate.

Disclosure of Student Information

We will not disclose student information or education records to any third party or organization unless we are required to by law, and provided we can do so without breaching data protection laws. We will not share, sell or distribute any student information or education records to any third party organization.

Collection of Parent / Guardian / Teacher / School Information

As a parent, guardian, teacher or school, if you subscribe to services on our website, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email contact details, and the name of your school. You do not have to use real names. Aliases or pseudonyms may be used.

We may collect information about you if you contact us offline, for example by telephone, fax, email or post.

We may collect information about your usage of our website.

What We Use Your Information For

Your information will be used to provide you with access to our website and to supply you with any information, products or services you request.

We may use your information to contact you for feedback on your use of our services or website.

Registrants' personal information is stored securely. Access to the server is limited to the application itself, our software developers and support staff.

All data transferred within the application is protected by SSL. SSL is a technology that makes your data illegible in transit. If anyone were to intercept communication between our servers and your computer, they would not be able to easily decipher what was being passed back and forth.
